Chairman Kim Chang Keon arrived in Uzbekistan and on March 15 in the city of Kokand, Kim Chang Keon met with the mayor of the city Marufjon Usmonov. The negotiations were also attended by the head of the representative office of the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association in the Ferghana region, Yoon Jeong Sok, regional director of Plus International, Kim Tae Woo, chief manager of the representative office of Evergreen Motors in Tashkent, as well as senior officials of the city administration.
During the meeting, the parties welcomed the practical start of the investment project for the construction by Hanshin Engineering & Construction and Plus International of modern multi-storey residential complexes with social infrastructure in the city of Kokand. It was noted that on March 26 this year, specialists from South Korean companies will arrive in Kokand to create a representative office of Hanshin Engineering & Construction and complete preparatory work for the start of construction of facilities. Khokim Marufjon Usmonov expressed his readiness to create all favorable conditions for the work of South Korean specialists.
They also discussed and reached agreements on the practical start in the shortest possible time of an investment project to organize the production of natural cosmetic products in conjunction with the company "LYA Cosmetics", as well as other projects with the involvement of KUBA member companies.
In addition, the issue of twinning relations between the city of Kokand and one of the successful cities of Korea was discussed, both sides decided to make efforts to promote them during the year.
