Discussions on expanding educational cooperation between Kwangwoon University and the Republic of Uzbekistan have officially begun.


Chairman Kim Chang Keon announced that on March 18, an official meeting was held with Kwangwoon University to discuss the establishment of a higher education foundation 

in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the expansion of academic exchange and cooperation.


The meeting was attended by key officials including Kwangwoon University Chairman Cho Sun-young and President Yoon Do-young, 

where in-depth discussions were held regarding future directions of cooperation.


The discussions focused on securing an educational hub in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as establishing and operating Korean language education centers within local universities. 

Both sides agreed to swiftly proceed with the project, beginning with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).


In addition, both parties agreed to conduct on-site inspections in the near future and to establish a working-level project task force (TF) to develop a phased implementation plan.
