On May 19, Chairman Kim Chang Keon visited the Embassy of Tajikistan in Seoul and held a meeting with Ambassador Mr. Yusuf Toir Sharifzoda. During the meeting, they actively discussed topics such as the Republic of Korea- Republic of Tajikistan direct flight project, the international student employment linkage project, and the resource development project.
In this meeting, they reviewed the projects that have been carried out since the trilateral business forum between the Republic of Korea, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe, the capital city of Republic of Tajikistan, which was promoted by Chairman Kim Chang Keon as the head of the economic mission before the pandemic. The meeting was concluded with productive results, such as sharing possible business items in various fields (government and business aspects, etc.) that they would like to focus on in the future and reaching a consensus on promoting them.
In addition, Ambassador Mr. Yusuf Toir Sharifzoda officially invited Chairman Kim Chang Keon to Tajikistan around June/July this year and agreed to hold an official meeting with key government officials to continue in-depth discussions on the promotion of future economic forums and friendly cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Tajikistan.
